So many people talk about the importance of self love, in order to heal and become all of who you are.
However, how many of us truly know what self love is and how to really practice it?
Some of the biggest obstacles to self love are self criticism, self hate, disassociation and the need for perfectionism, which eventually leads to self punishment and dis-ease.
Lack of self love also stops you from living your true life purpose and embracing beautiful and exciting opportunities, keeping you in a place of self doubt and not feeling good enough.
To love yourself you have to be willing to give yourself time and develop a powerful healing practice.
You have to take the time to truly get to know yourself and find great value in who you are. You need to connect to the parts of yourself that became stunted, bring kindness, wisdom and understanding towards them and help them grow.
When your inner foundation is strong then you have more capacity to heal, transform and create beautiful honouring relationships.

Sit comfortably. Close your eyes and centre yourself. Tune into the loving energy of your heart by thinking of someone or something you love.
Visualise your heart in your mind’s eye. How does it look? Is it happy and expanded, joyfully giving and receiving love? Or is it constricted, stressed, tired, numb and limited?
Be honest with yourself. Sit with this feeling for a moment.
Acknowledge any negative feelings stuck in your heart space and focus on gently releasing them by saying I’m willing to let this go.
Then rub your hands together for 30sec. Visualise a soft pink light. Focus your intention on filling this pink light with loving care for your self.
Then send it into your heart.
Place your hands on your heart for a few moment and acknowledge how amazing your heart is.
Complete the process by taking a few deep breaths in and out and relaxing your hands. 🙌
