Life in the country never really slows down, especially during harvest, end-of-year school events, or when work piles up.

Feeling stressed?

Try these small steps:

🌾 Take five minutes outside to breathe and stretch.
☕ Connect with a friend or family member, even briefly.
📅 Prioritise rest - your body and mind need recovery too.

If you’re finding it hard to cope, our team can help.

Reach out early on Ph: 08 8644 4900 - you don’t have to wait until things feel too heavy.

We had an awesome day at the Anti-Poverty Week Community Event at Dickens Park in Port Lincoln last Thursday!

Megan, Harshi & Tara were out and about representing Country & Outback Health, chatting with the community and sharing info about the services we offer.
The weather turned it on ☀️ and there was a great buzz in the park. Local services came together to offer support, have conversations, and connect with the community.

There was a sausage sizzle sizzling away, the Lions Club cooked up a delicious chicken stir-fry, and community members were able to grab some generous donated hampers.

Thanks to everyone who came along or helped make it happen — we loved being part of such a meaningful and fun event!

🤎Celebrating Mental Health Month in Port Pirie!🤎

Last Friday, Steve and Heidi from Country & Outback Health Port Pirie, teamed up with Kristy and Xiao (student on placement) from headspace Port Augusta to attend the Mental Health Month Community Event in Port Pirie.

It was a great day out connecting with the community, spreading the word about the services we offer, and networking with other local organisations.

From fun activities to meaningful conversations, the event was a great reminder of how vital it is to look after our mental health — every day, not just in October.

Join headspace Port Augusta as they celebrate this special day on Friday 24th October down at the Eastside Foreshore.

There’ll be fun beach activities, good vibes, and plenty of chances to connect, relax, and learn more about the importance of youth mental health.

📍 Bring your friends, family, and sunscreen – it's going to be a great day out!

Head down to the foreshore after school on Friday for some fun activities! We can't wait to see you there. This headspace centre has been made possible by funding from Country SA PHN.
