🤎Mentally Fit EP Wellbeing Conference - Port Lincoln🤎

Over the weekend, Scott had the pleasure of attending the Mentally Fit EP Wellbeing Conference in Port Lincoln. It was fantastic to see such strong support from the local community, mental health providers and key political leaders, all coming together with a shared commitment to wellbeing in our region.

Scott joined a panel for a Q&A session exploring mental health service provision from both organisational and community perspectives. He was proud to share more about CObH’s services, with a particular focus on our Mental Health programs and CPSP, and the ways we’re supporting people locally.

He also had the opportunity to connect with Taimi Allan (Mental Health Commissioner SA) and Bridget Kennelly, Country SA PHN Manager Community Collaborations, to discuss the challenges facing our region, as well as the many incredible services working hard to meet local needs.

A wonderful weekend of collaboration, conversation and community💛

The Whyalla Local Drug Action Team (LDAT) is inviting parents and carers to complete a short, confidential survey about parental stress, supporting young people, and any concerns related to alcohol and other drug use.
LDAT is funded by the Alcohol and Drug Foundation and locally supported by Mission Australia - Whyalla & Port Augusta, Whyalla City Council, and headspace Whyalla.

The feedback you share will help shape future local programs and supports for children, young people, and families in Whyalla 💙
