🔹Encourage interactions with your child and extend them where possible!

🔸It is important to stay engaged in interactions with your child, so it is even more important to learn ways to extend the time you are interacting. This provides more opportunities for your child to be able to communicate.
🔹You can extend interactions by: taking turns, matching your child’s turn, and cue your child to take a turn.
🔸If your child has difficulties “taking a turn” you can cue them with facial expressions and body language such as smiling, nodding, and leaning forward or visual cues such as a gesture, sign, object or picture.

We need your help! We've just launched a new community survey; and, we'd love your insights.

We're presenting a talk for Autism Level UP! Month (aka April) entitled "What the Autistic Community Wishes You Really Knew this April" and we'd love to know how you'd answer that question.

It's a quick Google Survey. You can find it here : https://forms.gle/AdMEgpVXp8HzUq2k8

We hope you'll take as much or as little time as you can contribute to answer :)

We are asking Autistic people to contribute their knowledge and perspectives as part of the Autistic Community. We are also asking allistic people connected to the community to contribute their perspectives as part of the broader Autism Community.

Thanks for helping us Level UP! our perspective and knowledge base. We look forward to reading your responses and really do hope we'll be able to generate and post some useful tools for the community at large based upon our collective efforts. ❤️💛
