Hi all!! As many of you know, because I haven’t been able to stop bragging about it, I have a new niece! 🥰

As of this Friday I will be away and on my way to have lots of baby cuddles and spend some much needed time with family who we haven’t been able to see in a year! 🤗

I will officially be back at work on Monday the 15th of March 👐🏻 My fingers are very much crossed that it won’t be a repeat of last year and we won’t have to go into isolation when we come home 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Please still feel free to message me, I will get back to you ASAP and if you’re a current client, please get in quickly with your appointments for when I return to work as I am nearly completely booked for my first week back already! ❤️

Hi all 👋🏻 Just a message to remind you to please be kind to small businesses coming into this Christmas season ✨

Whether it’s a clothing store, a beauty therapist, a nail tech, a jewellery store, a massage therapist or any other small business, please remember that there is always a women or man behind the scenes trying to provide for themselves or a family.

Christmas is a busy and expensive time for everyone, there is no doubt about that. Simply purchasing an item or booking an appointment from a small or local business is more appreciated than you know, and in terms of my business or any other appointment based business, I ask that you keep the owner and their family in mind when you’re having to cancel your appointment. Please give them as much notice as possible so they are able to book someone else in. This will ensure that not only the owner but other clients aren’t having to miss out.

Reminder- if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment you will be required to pay a cancellation fee of $25.

So... I definitely did not expect to be coming home from holidays early and really did not expect to be writing this post.

As of today I will be in isolation for 14 days in order to keep myself and everyone else safe.

Due to the unknown of the future, I cannot say when I will be back at work. However please keep an eye out as I will be advertising my return to work as soon as safe and possible.

For now, any pains, injuries or niggles, feel free to contact me and I will try my hardest to provide you with at home strategies to relieve some symptoms.

Everyone meet Winnie!! Today was the first day of my Paediatric massage course! Day 1 was filled with learning about the everyday massage sequence, the best oils to use and techniques for colic, reflux and wind! 🤩

Struggle with illness in the winter months? 🤧

It is shown that massage can assist in the flow of your lymphatic system, meaning those germ fighting white blood cells get a helping hand in getting rid of all the nasties that come with the cold weather!

Have trouble getting those hands and feet warm? 👣❄️

In winter, your muscles contract to conserve heat which actually constricts blood flow. This causes a decrease in muscle function and health, causing that extra ‘stiffness’ that we all go through when the weather drops. Massage and the manipulation of the soft tissues is a must in order to get that circulation up to scratch

Does winter effect your mood? Does it make you a bit low? 😕

Massage releases serotonin and endorphin’s, which are hormones that relieve stress/sadness and make you naturally feel happy.

Just a reminder to clients that I do have a cancellation policy in placez. Please let me know as soon as you can if you cannot make your appointment 🤗

It saddens me to say but after the realisation of how many cancellations I do encounter weekly I will now be setting a cancellation policy.

If you book an appointment and cancel within 24 for hours, I will ask you to pay a fee of $25.

It is extremely hard trying to run a business when I am left either sitting at work for an hour with no client to treat or am unable to fill the vacant booking due to late notice.

I have some very exciting news!!!

By the end of July I will be a qualified infant massage therapist!! 👶🏻👐🏻

The thought of getting to help all little bubs around town and teaching their parents how to help them makes me so excited! Keep me in your thoughts if you know of anyone who will have a little one in the second half of this year 💗
