I've been thinking about my work recently and thought I'd pop up another video. I'd love to provide a space for Interpreters, Support Workers and CODAs and anyone else involved in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. This is a safe and confidential space for you!

Also this is my first go at doing a voice over AND using captions! Pretty good, except for the spelling of coder instead of CODA 😆😆 Forgive me as I work on improving my technology skills!

Hello how are you?

I'd like to let you know I have availability for new clients.
I have worked as a Social Worker and Counsellor for 20 years and over that time my focus has been working with parents, children and families.

Working with parents is a passion of mine.
I'd love to work with Deaf parents who have hearing or Deaf kids, or with hearing parents that have Deaf kids.

I've just finished watching Reunion on ABC Iview. It has Deaf actors, and focuses on a Deaf man's experience of the legal system and his relationships. A powerful series. I grew up using a mix of Auslan and British Sign language; I loved watching BSL being used on the screen. A must watch for lovers of drama and crime shows.

Deaf man Daniel Brennan is leaving prison after ten years. Driven by revenge, he has nothing left to lose until reuniting with his estranged daughter forces his plans to change.

What a day of every kind of weather today! We had a beautiful rainbow before the rain pelted down at the soccer field this morning. Loved looking at the beautiful rainbow. Also loved my hot shower after getting saturated in the rain!
