Wishing our year 12 families good luck this morning with results being released.

The number is simply a number used to rank students for university purposes, and will not mean much in the bigger picture of life, or reflect the many many skills strengths and talents we have, but for those receiving results, we hope the efforts of the past year equate to something you are proud of!

Congratulations!

Week 4 of ADHD Awareness Month - Resources & Support

Supporting ADHDers isn’t just about strategies - it’s also about having the right resources at hand.

From apps that help with focus and planning, to ADHD-friendly tools like planners, timers, and trackers, there are lots of practical ways to make daily life easier. Printable activities and strengths-based resources can nurture confidence, creativity, and self-awareness.

And don’t forget professional and community support! Whether it’s webinars, coaching, or guidance rooted in neurodiversity-affirming practice, these resources empower ADHDers and their families to thrive.

Try different tools, discover what fits, and celebrate each small success along the way.

Mental Health Month: Week 3

This week, we’re focusing on mindfulness - not about clearing your mind or finding constant calm, but simply noticing what’s here, right now.

Notice what you can see, hear, and feel.
Notice the small shifts when you take a mindful breath.
Notice that even on the hardest days, you’re still finding ways to show up.

Mindfulness is a gentle reminder that we don’t have to fix everything - sometimes, awareness itself is enough.

Together, we can make mindfulness a daily practice - for ourselves and for each other.

Week 3 of ADHD Awareness Month – Strengths

ADHDers bring so many unique strengths to everyday life - from creativity and curiosity to energy, empathy, and resilience.

This week, we’re shining a light on these strengths and exploring ways to celebrate and build on them. By noticing interests, integrating passions into daily routines, and recognising “mirror traits” (like curiosity alongside distractibility), ADHDers can feel empowered, confident, and proud of their abilities.

Focusing on strengths - not just challenges - helps create a supportive, understanding environment where ADHDers can thrive and see the value they bring to themselves and their communities.

Week 2 of Mental Health Month

This week, we focused on giving yourself permission to pause and take small steps that support your wellbeing. Whether it’s setting gentle boundaries, connecting in simple ways, or taking moments to rest, each choice can help you feel a little lighter and more supported.

Self-care isn’t about perfection - it’s about noticing the meaningful ways you can care for yourself and your family each day.

Week 2 of ADHD Awareness Month

This week, we’re focusing on practical ways to support and empower ADHDers.

Simple strategies - like breaking tasks into steps, using visual tools, and including movement breaks or flexible routines - can make a real difference in daily life. These approaches don’t just help with focus and organisation; they also create space for confidence, engagement, and building on strengths.

By shifting from only managing challenges to building on strengths, we can see what’s possible - not just for learning or work, but for everyday life and the little moments in between.
