Butter…. I discovered an interesting thing about Coles brand butter today. The Coles Australian butter is made in Australia and the Coles Simply butter is made in NZ. Both are fine as both country’s cows will be grass fed. Another interesting thing… the NZ one is cheaper. 🤷🏽‍♀️.

It’s worth using the YUKA app to scan your food, hair products, skin products and deodorant… baby products as well. I was shocked to find that my deodorant and face cream were really quite toxic. Use the scanning button on the bottom of the app to scan the product’s bar code.

Behaviour change also requires a mindset shift. Kadampa is a Buddhist tradition that offers a way to learn how to think about things another way. Classes are starting in Yarraville in February and if you’re local, I recommend giving it a try. Just like eating differently, thinking differently needs ongoing practice… I can promise you that it’s worth it.

Do you like peanut butter? I sure do!! Mayvers is my go to brand. The Bega has an ‘antioxidant’ (390) in it. According to research, the possible effects of 390 are: asthma, DNA damage, depression, insomnia, fatigue, headache, it’s a recognised carcinogen, it is toxic for many organs, it’s prohibited in food for infants. And it’s derived from petroleum.

BOTTLED TUNA. Did you even know this was a thing?? Yep. Bottled tuna is much better than canned tuna because it doesn’t have the anti-corroding agent that is on the lining of canned food. That lining messes up our hormones, which isn’t good for anyone. Even if it says BPA free, it will have been replaced by a different BP. It can be difficult to get. I get mine at Woolworths.
