💨 With the sudden change in weather lately you may need to be using your asthma puffer a little bit more,
But Are You Using Your Puffer Correctly?

Did you know many people don’t use their asthma puffer properly? 👀

Using it the wrong way can mean you’re not getting the full dose of medication.

Here’s the correct way to use a standard puffer

🔹Shake the puffer well
🔹Breathe out fully
🔹Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and seal your lips around it
🔹Press down ONCE and breathe in slowly and deeply
🔹Hold your breath for 5–10 seconds
🔹Wait about 30–60 seconds before a second puff (if prescribed)

💡 Even better? Use a spacer — especially for children — it helps more medication reach the lungs.
