Softening into something new 💫The transition from Maiden to Mother monumental.
Beginning during pregnancy, a new self emerges as we shift and grow.
Prenatal yoga can give us space to tune in, to take stock, to welcome in the evolution. It can help smooth the waves in mind, body, and breath.
Alongside the movement and restorative yoga, breath + meditation to support pregnancy and prepare for birth, this class is here for connecting with heart, baby, and community on your journey.

Last class for the series yesterday and what
a special one it was.
We have space in the next series if you would like to join.🤍
Many stay on to do 2 or 3 rounds and starting early means you have longer for the practises and shifts to integrate as well as connecting with other mums to be.
Feeling supported and having tools that help during this time is important.

~Winter Retreat~
A time of quiet beauty.
The land takes a deep breath, and nature slows to rest and reset—an invitation for us to do the same.
We invite you to take a step back, reconnect, and nourish yourself this winter. 🌿
Join us, Kate and Mieke for a day of gentle movement and joyful creative expression.
Our day will begin with a warm welcome, a soothing cuppa, and an opening dharma talk to set the tone for our time together.
We’ll then flow through a rejuvenating yoga practice to release tension, boost circulation, and bring ease to both body and mind.
We’ll explore somatic practices, meditation, and Sankalpa (yogic goal-setting) with Kate, followed by time for reflection, journaling, and shared conversation.
A hearty, Ayurvedic-inspired lunch will nourish and sustain us, providing the perfect fuel for the afternoon.
After lunch we’ll dive into a mindful clay workshop with Mieke.
Together, we’ll hand-build a pair of mugs—two pieces of pottery to hold and cherish, warming both hands and heart during the colder months. This creative practice connecting to the earth allows for a deeply grounding experience.

Mindful movement helps with the body’s changes, relieve aches, reduce tension. Using the breath as a powerful tool for nervous system regulation and pain management and practising the art of rest and meditation to connect and release.
It's always a joy and highlight to share yoga this series.
Pregnancy and post-partum can be a time when many first turn to yoga and all welcome. No yoga experience needed!
Beneficial for newbies and experienced practitioners.

I have been practicing yoga since my late teens and in 2014 I travelled to Bali to immerse myself in this profound practice completing my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Santosha Yoga Institute.
It was a transformative time. I completed my training and felt like I finally found what I was supposed to be doing and I wanted to do it everyday!
When I returned home I was satisfied to continue with my own practice but after some time I could see people around me suffering in some form or another and thought perhaps yoga could aid in their journey to wellness, restoring balance and bringing them “home” just as it had for me. So a bit wobbly and certainly with my training wheels on I started running free classes for my workmates. It was in these classes that I fell in love with teaching, especially my workmates who had never practiced before. It was so lovely to see people who where initially apprehensive or even skeptical really open up and begin to find themselves through these classes, connecting to themselves in a ways perhaps not experienced before.
My understanding of yoga and it’s gifts continues to grow everyday.

Transcending much deeper than the physical postures or asana, Yoga can be practiced in many ways with focus on different aspects of mind and body to offer up exactly what you need in that moment, meeting you right where you are to bring about union with mind, body and spirit. I believe yoga is for everyone and should be accessible to all, the benefits are endless and far reaching.
