Last week we welcomed all our volunteers to come for training and a luncheon. One topic we covered was moving and handling and the safe use of wheelchairs. Each person was invited to have their senses limited and get a feeling of what it can be like to be pushed in a wheelchair. It’s a really effective way to realise who it feels and what simple things we can do to help someone feel comfortable and safe.

Louise has enjoying some fresh air in the garden with the support of the care team, it made me think of friendship and how much it’s builds the connections we make.

Do you know we sell local honey in our main reception area?

In June we held our ‘seasons’ ladies breakfast at The Harvest Coffee Shop for ladies to come together for fellowship and food. In the hope people left feeling inspired and encouraged. A big thank you to Loulita Gill who led our worship time. She has such a beautiful voice. ♥️

Our Roots and Wings playgroup will be holding it’s graduation sessions over the next few weeks for those who will be flying off to their next adventure and starting Primary school.

Roots and wings (our weekly play group) has been busy, making and decorating pots to grow cress that looks as if its hair 🥳 we look forward to watching them grow.
