🐝 Our amazing worker Mick taking participant Dallas out for another outing 😌 here’s what Mick had to say about what they did -
Hey all, today Dallas and I hit up the big smoke of Anglesea for some lunch and a walk. We went to the Laneway73 cafe which is very different but had nice food and good price.
Then we went for walk along the river where we spotted the art gallery. Had some amazing pieces in there.
Carried on our walk which was about 30min or so. River is very low as you can see in the pictures. Also had a little dance 🕺

If you’re interested in getting out and about with Mick for a little adventure, hit us up! 🐝

In people with Spina Bifida both congenital and acquired orthopedic distortions of the feet is quite common - there are many different malformations that can affect them.
A month ago, this truly gorgeous and courageous kid had surgery to help straighten and strengthen his left foot so he can run and jump and ride a bike (or in his case, a four wheeler motorbike 🤣). Today we went to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne for a cast removal, assessment from the surgeon and a recommendation that, while the healing is improving, another cast is required until his AFOs have been completed. What an absolute trooper this lil guy is … he didn’t cry (even though he was a bit scared) when getting the cast removed and, even though he wasn’t a fan of another cast (he was a little bit mad 😠) he was super happy with his new rainbow colored cast. In terms of the surgery result, his little foot is so much straighter (Beautiful Mumma had a little cry of happiness) and he will be able to do so much more after his recovery ❤️‍🩹 Well done E, you were an absolute champ and so very patient - I owe you a trip to some smooth concrete for your new remote control car - Tan 😘
