Move every hour
Sitting feeds stiffness.

Set a timer, you can get an app for this so you don’t have to think!
Stand up.
Walk around.
Do 10 slow squats
You’re not “exercising.”

Back pain?
Before you panic… try these 3 things at home.
Move every hour
Sitting feeds stiffness.
Stand up. Walk. Do 10 slow squats.
Your back needs movement to heal more than it needs rest.

Slow your breathing
Stress tightens muscles without you realising.
4 seconds in. 6 seconds out.
Do it for 3–5 minutes.
Calm nervous system = less tension. We cant heal in ‘stress mode’

Upgrade your sleep position
Your back heals at night.
Side sleeper? Pillow between your knees.
On your back? Pillow under your knees.
On your stomach? Time to retrain that habit.

Back pain is rarely one big injury.
It’s small daily loads that build up.
Shift the small things.
Your body responds.

CAN YOU DO THESE THREE THINGS?!

Be honest.

Squat down with your heels flat
Like you’re sitting around a campfire.
No falling backwards. No holding onto something.

Fall asleep on your side or back
Comfortably.
Not twisted like a pretzel. Not waking up stiff.

Get out of a chair with ease
No rocking forward.
No pushing off your knees.
No sounding like an 80-year-old at 40.

If those feel hard… restricted… or impossible…
That’s not “just getting older.”
That’s your body losing capacity.
Your spine is designed to move.
To rotate.
To load.
To recover.

When you stop being able to do basic human movements, it’s a sign something needs attention.

I hear these three things almost every week.

“I’ve heard Chiropractic hurts.”
“I don’t think it’s very scientific.”
“Isn’t it just for joints?”

And every time I hear it, I get it.
Because most people don’t believe these things for no reason.

They believe them because:

Someone scared them years ago

They saw a dodgy video online

Or they tried one thing, once, and it didn’t work

So they live with pain instead.
They push through headaches.
They accept stiffness as “normal.”
They tell themselves, “I’ll deal with it later.”

But here’s the part that matters.

Chiropractic isn’t about cracking bones.
It’s about helping your body work the way it was designed to.

It’s not unscientific.
It’s grounded in how the nervous system controls movement, pain, and recovery.

And it’s not just about joints.
