What if the thing you’re afraid to feel is actually the thing that heals you?
I’ve learned this the long way.
Pain doesn’t disappear when we avoid it.
It just goes quiet… and works on us from the background.
Tightening the body.
Shrinking our capacity.
Running our lives without our consent.
But when pain is met, not fought, not fixed, not rushed,
something incredible happens.
When it’s accepted.
When it’s loved.
It becomes the most direct path to freedom.
To sovereignty.
To the truth of who we are.
Avoidance turns pain into suffering.
Presence turns pain into expansion.
What we resist doesn’t leave.
What we allow… transforms.
For me, this looked like learning to use my voice…even when it felt uncomfortable, even when others disapproved.
Because I want my children to know their truth is safe, powerful, and never up for negotiation.
Tag a mother who’s healing so her children don’t have to.
This is how cycles change.
