As we begin the New Year, the team at Windang Family Medical Centre wishes you good health and wellbeing for the year ahead.

We’d also like to remind our patients that shingles is more common as we get older, particularly from age 50. It can cause significant pain and long-lasting nerve complications—but vaccination can greatly reduce your risk- https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/immunisation/Pages/shingles-program.aspx

If you are eligible for the shingles vaccine, or would like to know more, please speak with your GP or our nursing team.
