We know exercise can be impactful - particularly in the context of ageing.

Here’s the difference just 1 year of exercise can make for the physical function of older adults (aged 70+).

A decision to be more physically active can be a true “sliding doors” moment for physical ability with ageing.

Just 1 in 4 Australians aged over 15 met the physical activity guidelines in 2022-23 and physical inactivity continues to cost the Australian healthcare system more than 1 billion dollars year on year.

Our public health initiative Exercise Right was created to support Australians in achieving a more active and healthier lifestyle by connecting them with ESSA's exercise professionals.

This year, our goal is to get more Aussies moving for 30 minutes a day through our Exercise Right Week campaign in May. Surrounding this campaign is the brand new Exercise Right Challenge!

You can get involved by helping spread the Exercise Right message, joining the challenge or hosting or attending an event!
