So I followed my own advice and took myself to Lifestyle Retreat for 3 nights last week.

How was it? Amazing. It was just what I needed to destress, motivate and energise.

3 night and 4 days of rest, beautiful trail walks, nature, relaxing treatments, organic food, organic gardening workshops, different forms of exercise classes and time away from the normal schedule and pace of life.

My tip: if you know you are feeling tired, are stressed and need a break don’t leave it too long to do something about it. Make space in your life to look after yourself. You deserve it.

It is D Day: Make time for some safe sunshine and boost your Vitamin D!

For many of us, winter often feels like a time for hibernating, hunkering down until the warm weather returns. But this year, with COVID’s impact, that thought has become a reality.

We’ve come to equate staying home with staying safe and while this is true, we must remember that getting out into the sunshine not only lifts our spirits but is important for our health and well-being because it helps to replenish our vital supplies of Vitamin D.

{healthy habits} One small change is all you need to get you started. I find this is my own life and also in the people that I work with- we make one change (making a juice once a day) and all of a sudden we get motivated and other healthy habits become easy (cooking healthier meals).

It’s called momentum and it’s easy once you have the trigger to start.

I’m enjoying the juicing and also searching for new recipes and I’m cooking more. 😋
