Carissa is also trained in iridology, the practice of observing the colours within the iris to help identify where specific nutrients may be beneficial, and will be providing mini iridology sessions — $10 for five minutes.
You can be provided with information about which nutrients may best support what your iris colours are showing.

Perimenopause doesn’t always announce itself with hot flashes first — often the early signs are more subtle, but they can feel unsettling when you don’t know what’s going on. Here are some clues your body might be on the rollercoaster of perimenaopsue:

~ Mood swings with random bursts of anger
Hormonal fluctuations (especially estrogen + progesterone dips) can throw off your neurotransmitters, making emotions feel like they’re on a rollercoaster.

~️ Brain fog
Estrogen plays a big role in memory and focus — when it fluctuates, it can feel harder to concentrate or find the right words.

~ Cycle fluctuations
Your period might get shorter, longer, heavier, lighter, or arrive unpredictably as ovulation becomes less consistent.

~ Sleep disturbances
Lowering levels of progesterone can disrupt GABA, melatonin and cortisol balance, making it harder to fall asleep or stay asleep.

~ Ovulation pain when you haven’t experienced it before
Histamine levels often increased due to worsened oestrogen spikes, making symptoms like ovulation pain worse.

~ Migraines, especially premenstrually
Shifts in oestrogen and histamine can trigger vascular changes, leading to migraines right before your period or at ovulation.

~ Libido changes
Lower oestrogen and testosterone can alter vaginal tissue health and desire — sometimes dropping libido, sometimes unexpectedly boosting it.

We understand that fitting appointments into your busy schedule can be hard, especially when so many other things take priority (work, kids, after school activities etc) , but you can only go so long without taking care of yourself.
After hearing from so many people how they postponed making appointments for themselves because they couldn't find the time, I decided to create an offering of email consult packages.
