Your body may need time and support to recover after the birth of your baby. You may have concerns about your pelvic floor, or experience breastfeeding discomfort, or your posture has changed, causing pain and discomfort. Your osteopath will take a detailed health history to understand your post-partum experience and identify your musculoskeletal or physical concerns.

Osteopaths trained in pelvic floor screening may offer to conduct an external physical examination of your pelvic floor. Where needed, they can also collaborate with or refer you to other health professionals for more specific diagnosis and treatment.

It's with great sadness we announce Alison Kandelas passed away yesterday.

Since 2008, Alison was well known at Health Dimensions as a naturopath, herbalist and remedial massage therapist, and for her home clinic, The Quirky Herbalist.

Alison will be remembered for her sunny nature, her interest in natural health and for always being barefoot in the clinic ... all year round. She loved gardening, both for plants for beauty, particularly sunflowers and roses, and for plants for their practical qualities and usage in her herbal remedies.

There were many older or sick dogs Alison adopted which she treated with herbal remedies to ease their pain, along with her devoted care and understanding their needs. There was no dog Alison loved more though than Mickey who often accompanied her in the clinic, and if its possible, she'll be happy in eternity with Mickey by her side again.

In Alison's words, at the end of an appointment, or leaving for home after clinic, 'Have a Happy Day.'

Alison, you'll be missed.
