James and Sheli have certainly evolved and grown up whilst running Melbourne Smiles. I wish we had a photo of them together back in 2011 in the original clinic in South Melbourne but for now, let’s enjoy a flashback to 2017 photoshoot to end of 2019 photoshoot to todays new headshots in 2025.

With over 20+ years experience in relationship management, team leadership and client engagement; we are thrilled to see Melbourne Smiles take its next big steps in the right direction.

He works closely with dentists, admin, and leadership teams to foster strong relationships, drive process improvements, and ensure every interaction reflects Melbourne Smile’s values of care, quality, and respect. Catherine Crosbie is Melbourne Smiles Front Office Manager for both and sides of the business.

She has over 20 years of experience in the dental industry, both in Australia and overseas. She is passionate about helping people achieve their ideal smile and takes pride in answering any questions or concerns they may have along the way.

Outside of work, Catherine enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, nature walks, catching the occasional reality TV show (guilty pleasure!) and heading to the pub for a cheeky trivia night.

Meet The Team: Craig Hitchiner

Craig is a highly motivated professional with a passion for the dental field. Craig is a Dental Prosthetist and works at Melbourne Smiles on Fridays. His person-centred approach allows him to focus on optimal patient outcomes.

In addition to his clinical work, Craig has mentored and trained numerous students aspiring to become skilled dental technicians.

Away from work, Craig enjoys watching live sports such as football, cricket and basketball. He stays active by hitting the gym and spending quality time with family and friends. On weekends, you might find Craig riding his bike, clocking up some kilometres and enjoying the outdoors.
