Two years without you, Mal… 🤍
and somehow, you’re still everywhere here.

You were something really special. A big man with the gentlest presence — calm, kind, quietly funny, and always there when someone needed you. You never needed to be loud to be felt. You just… were. Steady, thoughtful, and deeply caring.

Mal, you weren’t just part of Dejay — you helped shape it. You were pivotal to who we are today, but more than anything, you were our friend. And we miss you so much.

Your legacy lives on so beautifully through Maryann, who continues to show up with that same care and heart in everything she does, and through Morgan, who has grown up Dejay and will always be part of our family. 💜

We carry you with us every day — in the way we care, support one another, and show up for our community.

Some partnerships go beyond business — and Jan, yours with Dejay has always been exactly that.

As the former owner of Meyland, and the driving force behind the much-loved Meywalk, your impact on the assistive technology industry speaks for itself. But for us, it’s always been more personal.

Across our 40-year journey, you’ve stood beside Dejay and the Mason family not just as a partner, but as a true friend. From your many trips to Australia to support our team, to the genuine care and time you’ve given — it’s rare to find alignment like we’ve shared. And we’ve never taken that for granted.

The video you created for our 40th anniversary is a perfect reflection of who you are — thoughtful, creative, and always willing to go above and beyond. That’s Jan. Always showing up. Always supporting. Always giving more than expected.

We have so many fond memories — not just of the work we’ve done together, but of the gentleman you’ve been every step of the way. Guided by passion, purpose, and a warmth that made every interaction meaningful.

Today is a bittersweet moment. While it’s hard to see you step away, we couldn’t be happier for what lies ahead in your retirement.

Please know this — you will always be part of the Dejay story. Your legacy lives on in the industry, in the lives you’ve impacted, and in the relationships you’ve built along the way.

Celebrating a decade of impact 🎉

A big thank you to the team at NAPA Australia for having us at your 10-year anniversary event in Sydney last week. What an incredible milestone — and a true reflection of the difference you’ve made in the lives of so many families.

It was great to see Tim (Dejay CEO) alongside Ali, Director of Clinical Operations at NAPA Australia, celebrating such a special occasion.

We’re proud to stand alongside organisations like NAPA who share the same passion for outcomes, innovation, and supporting children and their families to thrive.

And yes… these are the only photos we managed to get — turns out when the Dejay team gets together with good people, we’re a little too busy enjoying the moment to remember the camera 📸😉

Welcome to the team, Matt 💜

We’re so excited to introduce Matt, our newest QLD Rehab Equipment Consultant, joining us in Brisbane alongside Maryann.

Matt brings a wealth of experience as a senior physiotherapist, having worked across a range of settings including inpatient, outpatient and T&O (Trauma & Orthopaedics). With a strong clinical foundation and a genuine passion for helping others, he’s already bringing great energy to the team.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Matt is a genuinely friendly, down-to-earth guy who’s incredibly excited to step into this role — and it shows. His enthusiasm for learning, connecting with people and making a difference in the assistive technology space is something we’re really excited about.

He joins us at a great time, helping to strengthen our reach across Queensland and support our continued growth. We’re so happy to have you on board, Matt — and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you here at Dejay ✨

What a day 💜

Our Come & Try Day was packed with smiles, movement, and a whole lot of fun.

We saw kids giving things a go, families connecting, and our community coming together in the best way. From first-time trials to confident laps — every moment was worth celebrating.

This is what Dejay is all about — creating spaces where everyone feels supported, included, and excited to try something new.

Thanks to everyone who joined us… we’re already looking forward to the next one!
