Wishart Village Family Practice Medical Center including GP services, Physiotherapy, Dietician, Psychology, Podiatry.

We are a small friendly medical centre in the quiet Brisbane suburb of Wishart. Our General Practitioner's include Dr Jim Ryan, Dr Amir Eskandari and Dr Maryam Jabripoor. Our services include General Medicine, Skin Checks, Minor Surgeries, Vaccination, Women's Health, Mental Health and Child Health. We have a range of Allied Health Services who regularly attend the practice including psychologists

, child psychologist, dietician, podiatrist and physiotherapist. Bulk Billing is available for children under the age of 16 years and Pension/Health Care Card holders.

Flu vaccines are now available for everyone. Children aged 2-5years can now have Flumist it is a nasal spray vaccine. We are closed for the 4 days over Easter but back on deck Tuesday. Happy safe Easter

Hello everyone just letting you all know we are closed for the 4 days over Easter and the following public holidays 25/4 and 5/5. The after hours doctors are available 24hrs over this period and can be contacted on 134100. If it is urgent we advise call the ambulance on 000 or attend emergency at the hospital. Hi everyone just an update on Easter hours we will be open Easter Saturday 8/4 only 730-1130. Dr Ryan is working. At this point in time we have flu vaccine available for 5-65yrs of age $20 per vaccine. We do have the latest Covid boosters available you will need to phone to book No Online bookings for Covid vaccines. Enjoy your break Happy Easter everyone

Hi everyone as we approach the festive season I would like to let everyone know our hours over the Christmas New year period. We will be closed from Saturday 24th December to Tuesday 27 December. The on Monday 2nd January inclusive. Dr Eskandari is on holiday until 19th January so Dr Ryan is holding the fort by himself. We are open as usual 7am to 530pm Monday to Friday and will try our best to accommodate everyone’s needs. Stay safe Merry Christmas Happy New Year

Due to the failure of governments to maintain adequate Medicare rebates, to cover the rising costs of running a medical practice, we will NO Longer be able to Bulk Bill Adults from the 1/11/22.
Children under 16yrs of age will continue to be Bulk Billed.
Saturday will continue to be ALL patients privately billed.
Concession card holders will pay a discounted rate for service.
Health care cards and Commonwealth Seniors cards will pay $60 for a standard appointment with a Medicare refund of $39.75 meaning you are out of pocket approximately $20 a long appointment will have approximately the same out of pocket value.
Pensioners will be charged $50 for a standard appointment with a refund of $39.75 leaving an out of pocket expense of approximately $10 and a similar out of pocket fee for a long appointment.

DVA will not be affected you will still be billed as usual
