IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR LOTS 49 & 50 in this Saturday’s Australian Alpaca Association Members Auction @ Auctionsplus.com.au

Appaloosa CLOWNFISH (aka Nemo) (both lots are pregnant to him)

This beautiful Fancy /Appaloosa stud has fancy/appy colour genetics that can be traced back 7 generations to an innocuous imported white Chilean female, World Class White Lite (aka Bianca). That female had hundreds, if not thousands, of dark specks & spots through her white fleece & consistently produced fancy/appy progeny.
Clownfish comes down from one of Bianca’s fancy daughters, Acheron Fancy Pants, via her daughter Acheron Buttons & Bows, to Arcady Gucci and so on. Along the way there are speckled whites and solid whites, who, when crossed back with colour, immediately reproduce the family’s fancy/appaloosa pattern. The final photo attached here, is of one of Nemo’s white sisters with her fancy/appy cria by a dark sire.

** I strongly encourage those seeking to add this stunning pattern to their fancy-breeding genetics, to research back through Nemo's extended family.

NB Appaloosa Clownfish is NOT available for outside matings and these 2 pregnant females will not be offered for sale outside of this auction.

A cold 2nd day at Colourbration 2025 in Bendigo. Feeling really happy with the judges’ recognition of our 61 month old male, Arcady Glint. He was significantly the oldest in the Medium/Dark Fawn show & class winner with very complimentary remarks & then awarded Reserve Champion Medium/Dark Fawn Male. Gotta be satisfied with that … esp because Glint is shown in his 6th fleece, and completely unclipped ! Such a beautiful fine, clean fleece 🥰

We are so lucky to have been dealing with the same haymaker for many years. He makes fabulously tight, heavy rounds. 2024 baling was some of the best quality we have had too… just wish we had bought twice the amount ☹️ These tight bales give the animals the chance to test out their tunneling abilities too 😂

Doing a batch of vaccinations & ADE injections yesterday when an animal lunged as I withdrew the vaccs needle … causing me to stab my left pointer finger to a depth of a few mms 🤦‍♀️ Blown up beautifully and somewhat painful. Nothing injected, just a stab with the contaminated needle. Duh.
NOT RECOMMENDED ! 😂

There are only 2 things a farmer needs to fix pretty much anything … silver duct tape & baling twine ! Our tractor needs a new part because the engine wouldn’t turn off… so, in the meantime, baling twine to the rescue !🥳🥳
