PCIT - Parent Child Interaction Therapy!

I am in the deep end of learning and going through the certification process for this globally recognised intervention for children aged 2-7 with challenging behaviours… and it’s truly amazing to see this intervention work in real time!
We have an extensive waiting list here at Nurtured Insight and I am developing an online program for parents who want to learn the foundational skills of PCIT and to help manage the waiting list demands.
Stay tuned as we get to work on this specialised program - and I’ll even be putting together a teacher version for preschool and early primary school teachers!
This is the perfect mix of attachment theory, play therapy, behavioural therapy and social learning theory all mixed into one! Literally my favourite things about being a child psychologist 🙌💚

We're thrilled to kick off 2026 with momentum! After settling into our new location at 7 High St Wodonga, we're loving the fresh space. Cass has just wrapped up a fantastic family holiday in South Australia and is gearing up for her new Research Position at UNSW, which involves intensive training in Sydney. This role is a huge win for our region, bringing cutting-edge Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) expertise to our community. We're grateful for the support that has led to our extensive waiting list and thank our referral sources for trusting us. We'll be opening up new appointments in Term 2, and our incredible Admin team, led by Sherry who's currently on leave, will respond to all new enquiries in the coming weeks. Though we're quiet on the surface, we're laying foundations for a big year ahead!
