Mixed emotions for us here in the clinic today. You will see from our outfits we’re celebrating Christmas in July but also wishing Sandhya all the very best as it is her last day here in the clinic😢.

She is pursuing an exciting opportunity in Melbourne so we’re sad, but also thrilled that she is opening her wings and flying to something new.

Meet Will.

Will is well known to many of you through his work in a voluntary capacity in the community, but also as the Commander in Chief of First National Wodonga. 🕺

Will has been a loyal client with Optimum for the last 10 years and he's a regular in the Monday Pilates class!! He also comes in for regular touch-ups with aches and pains and maintenance of any niggles that he might have going on at the time. 🥴

Today we opted for something we thought would be fun but how wrong we were!! The challenge below has been doing the rounds on socials and they made it look ease. Trust us, this is THE most difficult exercise and, if Kylie and Anna can’t nail it, what hope is there for the rest of us?? Why don’t you give it a try at home – if you can do it, we’d love to see proof!!!

Meet Eve.

Eve came to see us following a referral from her surgeon in Wangaratta due to ongoing instability and dislocations in her shoulder.
Whilst the most recent injury was a traumatic during netball🏀, her shoulder would occasionally pop out when doing non-contact activities as well, including 🏊.

We diagnosed Eve with significant instability in the shoulder and we gave her a range of exercises and manual therapy to improve the strength in the whole of the shoulder complex. 💪

We're pleased to say that a few months on Eve has made a huge improvement. She hasn't had any episodes of shoulder instability for quite some time and she's back to doing what she loves. ✅

Meet James.

James is in his last year at Catholic College and really keen to pursue a career in physiotherapy. He reached out to see if he could do some work experience with us.

He spent time with the clinicians, joining in with Pilates and working alongside the admin team to see what life is really like behind the scenes at a physio practice.

We really enjoyed having you spend time with us James – you were engaged, proactive and brought a friendly atmosphere to the clinic.
