We get asked this a lot, so we thought it was worth explaining...

Laser treatments work by creating a controlled response in the skin — and part of the aftercare involves keeping the treated area protected from sun exposure while the skin heals and renews. During the warmer months, that can be a little harder to manage with longer days and more time spent outdoors.

As we move into the cooler months, UV levels are lower, we are naturally spending a little more time indoors, and it becomes easier to protect and care for your skin post-treatment. That makes this time of year a genuinely good window to start or continue your laser skin journey.

It is also worth thinking ahead, skin that is treated and supported through autumn and winter is in a much better place come spring and summer.
