🫁 FREE Lung Cancer Screening Now Available at Marina Radiology

From 1 July 2025, eligible Australians can access a free, bulk billed low-dose CT scan every two years through the National Lung Cancer Screening Program, available at selected Marina Radiology locations.

This program is designed to detect lung cancer early and save lives- by identifying cancer in its most treatable stage.

✅ You may be eligible if you:

✔️ Are aged 50–70 years
✔️ Show no symptoms of lung cancer (asymptomatic)
✔️ Currently smoke or quit within the last 10 years
✔️ Have smoked 30 pack-years or more
(e.g. 1 pack/day for 30 years or 2 packs/day for 15 years)

🩺 What’s involved?
Eligible patients will receive a free, bulk billed low-dose CT scan every two years to screen for signs of lung cancer.
This scan can detect up to 70% of lung cancers in the early stages, giving patients a better chance at treatment and recovery.
