Last night we attended the Ovens & Murray’s 2025 Hall of Fame! Such a prestigious event celebrating the heart and soul of our local football and netball community.

Diabetes can put our feet at risk of serious complications!
Here’s how:

🩸 High Blood Sugar - Consistently high glucose levels can cause damage to blood vessels & nerves.
⚡ Nerve Damage - This can inhibit your ability to detect touch, pain, heat, or even a pebble in your shoe. It can impact your ability to stand and walk too.
✂ Cuts, Sores & Wounds - These can go unnoticed due to reduced feeling, and can be more challenging to heal due to blood vessel damage.
😷 Infection - With elevated blood glucose levels, reduced blood flow and poor feeling wounds can become infected quickly.
🏥Amputation Risk - The result that no body wants! When all of the above is combined, amputation risk increases significantly.

But the good news?
