And that’s a wrap for another year as Coastal Kids. We have had the pleasure of being a part of the journeys of so many wonderful families in 2024. Being a part time solo mobile practice, we have been very busy this year- which is why social media has been nearly non-existent 🫣

Exciting times ahead for 2025 as we look to add an Allied Health Assistant to the team. He comes with a wealth of experience, particularly primary aged children and we can’t wait to have him join in supporting some existing and hopefully new families. ✨NEW OT SERVICE AVAILABILITY✨

Coastal Kids OT are excited to announce we will now be offering short term telehealth services to support those families on waitlists or those wanting some ideas to get started.

Telehealth service options may include;
✨one off assessments such as FCA or NDIS review reports
✨phone consultations to get going with some strategies around a specific skill area
✨individualised programs, following phone consult and screener assessment, to support with a specific skill area

Areas we are able to support may include motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation and behaviour, school readiness, early education and strategies following diagnosis, and toileting support.

Re-reading a favourite whilst on leave to support with my own parenting of my very energetic boys (5 and 3.5yrs 🤪), as well as a review for strategies in practice. This book has great information and strategies when supporting behaviour and emotions. Highly recommend!
