I work with a lot of clients who think they’re doing everything right because they’re tracking their cycles and “appear” to be ovulating every month. They plan s*x around “peak fertility days” like clockwork and assume that’s enough to get pregnant.

Only to do this for 12+ months and finally go see their doctor, asked minimal questions about their cycle and told to move on to IVF.

But here’s the thing no one told them: you can still get your monthly period but *not* be ovulating. Or might be ovulating but not with optimal hormones levels to support a pregnancy.

Before you get labelled with the “unexplained infertility” diagnosis.
Before IVF is put on the table.
Before you blame your age or your egg quality.

You deserve proper ovulation tracking and targeted blood work, not assumptions based on cycle length alone.

Unexplained usually means unexplored.

If this is news to you, thorough blood tests are a great place to start!

Share with someone who loves their tea but is trying to reduce microplastic consumption!

This post was requested by a client who loves her tea ☕️ 🍵 🫖 but knew lots of tea bags still use plastic in the manufacturing.

Plastic steeped in hot water is a bad combination unfortunately 😢 and scientists have now found microplastics in human organs including the ovaries and testicles…

For those conscious of ingesting microplastics and wanting to avoid / reduce, all of these brands have been researched to be plastic free 😀

Here’s how I regained normal ovulation and balanced hormones after a miscarriage and two invasive procedures.

✨ I stabilised my blood sugar—because chronic cortisol chaos steals your progesterone!

✨ I tested homocysteine and have been supporting my methylation properly.

✨ I focused on iron, B12, thyroid, and vitamin D levels. And not just “within range,” but optimal levels.

✨ I prioritised my muscle and protein - even if it’s meant gaining a few kgs, because metabolic health drives hormone health.

✨ I reduced even more endocrine disruptors in my home quietly but steadily.

✨ I addressed inflammation and have supported my liver without extreme detoxes.

✨ I protected my nervous system with these essentials: sleep, boundaries, morning sunlight, movement after meals.

And I still ate Christmas lunch.

Still had a champagne on New Year’s Eve.

And still laughed with friends.

Because healing isn’t about perfection.

A lot of what I teach now?

I built it while I was in it.

Understanding what actually moves the needle with egg quality is actually quite simple.

And someone who understands the emotional terrain as much as the biochemistry, I’ll be your biggest cheerleader!

If you want the exact framework I used - simple but structured, and backed by science - this is it.

IVF is an incredible medical advancement.

It can bypass blocked tubes.

It can overcome severe male factor.

It can help with genetic screening.

But IVF does not:
• Fix underlying inflammation
• Overcome silent endometrITIS
• Correct insulin resistance
• Repair thyroid dysfunction
• Improve s***m DNA fragmentation
• Rebuild nutrient deficiencies, like low ferritin

Make sure your foundations are solid.

Make sure the right tests have actually been done.

Make sure you are BOTH truly ready — physically, nutritionally, metabolically and emotionally.

Tell me in the comments: what has been your biggest struggle with IVF? 👇🏻
