We’ve been a little quiet on here, but the eucalyptus chaos is still in full swing behind the scenes 🌿💪

Yesterday we did our biggest order yet, over 300 stems of fresh baby blue eucalyptus for our good friend Cas (from FLEXX CO, but this one was for her other job, an event)! Thank you cas for thinking of us 💚

Michael kicked it off solo and I jumped in halfway, the backyard was a mess, the baskets were overflowing, and we were both sweating eucalyptus oil by the end 😂 But it was perfect timing. It’s spring, the trees needed a good haircut, and it felt really good to move our bodies and get our hands dirty 🌞

Thank you to everyone still ordering even when we go MIA online, we’re juggling a lot of fun and exciting things with our main small business National Disability Care lately, but this little biz still has heart. We see you. We appreciate you. and we still smell like eucalyptus, always.

Started the day strong with an 8am swim (yes, eight 😅) for L-Bear’s lessons, then off to a birthday party at the cutest bead shop in Gerringong. So wholesome, I wanna live there now tbh.

Our besties Jamie & Em made the trip down from Sydney this arvo, Jamie’s actually L-Bear’s god father and it was so good to catch up. Life’s wild, everyone’s busy, but these catch-ups mean the world 💚

Now we’re horizontal in bed, hydrating and prepping for the real event of the day: Grow a Garden Saturday night admin abuse event on Roblox, it's gonna be hosted by Travis Kelce himself (yes, Taylor’s boyfriend, yes it’s real, no I will not be taking questions). Michael and I will be online with L-Bear tonight growing pixelated bone blossoms and mutating all the plants 😂

Okayyy so we’ve been a bit MIA because life has been a swirl of eucalyptus orders, late-night label printing, and running our other baby, National Disability Care but we’re still here, still caffeinated, and still doing All The Things™.

This is suuuper late notice (classic us 😅) but tomorrow morning Michael and I will be at the Community Connection Mini Service Expo in Bulli! We’ll be holding a lil table repping National Disability Care, chatting to locals, other providers, and probably accidentally trying to convert everyone into eucalyptus oil lovers too 😂🌿

Okay sooo… this was meant to go live on Monday but, we've been a little bit flat out… first week as boss 😅💼

✨ We've officially stepped into a whole new role as the Director/Owner of National Disability Care, yep, that’s right, We now run a second business!
NDC is a values-led NDIS support service that we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes with for a few years now, and when the opportunity came up to take the reins, We said yes with our whole heart. 💜🟢

It’s still us, still slightly chaotic, still community-obsessed… just with more shift notes and less eucalyptus bark in the car. 😂

We’re still here at The Eucalyptus House and very much open as usual, in fact, we’ve got a brand new exclusive product collab, dropping tomorrow night with another fab Illawarra biz 👀🌿

Hi, I’m Riani, and I’m the new Director of National Disability Care 💜🟢

If you’re from the Illawarra, you might also know me as the founder of The Eucalyptus House, a community-led, slightly chaotic passion project that’s all about connection, calm, and fresh eucalyptus. NDC isn’t all that different, really, just with more shift notes and less bark in the car.

I’ve actually been part of the NDC family for a few years now, working behind the scenes alongside some incredible participants and staff. Earlier this year, Jess our previous Director and founder, offered me something I’ll never forget: the chance to step into her shoes and take over NDC.

It has honestly been life-changing. I’ve never had someone believe in me the way she did. Her leadership, guidance, and friendship gave me the confidence to make this mine, and I’ll always be grateful for that.

Growing up with ADHD, I always knew I had potential… I just didn’t always get the chance to show it. But entering the NDIS world changed that. I found a place where lived experience matters, where being neurodivergent isn’t a flaw, it’s part of the magic.

I’ve been a nurse for over 13 years, working across aged care, mental health, operating theatres, and community nursing… and now here I am, leading a support service that actually gives a damn.

This is our team. This is our start. And I’m so proud to lead with heart, and humour.

We've been a bit MIA this week, I've been a little ill all week, it really kicked my butt, so here’s a lil life update from eucalyptus HQ 🌿
Michael delivering his signature plant king energy while sending off a big silver dollar bunch to northern NSW, again 😂 Then we had a local order of our OG scent 100% eucalyptus essential oil + another big bunch of silver dollar eucalyptus!
Fast forward to today: I’m alive again (barely) and so are the orders! That’s me with a fresh bundle for my friend Tae 🩷, and THEN in the middle of my 9–5 chaos, our bestie Rebecca Murphy just rocks up like “are you home, I need a bunch” Um YES I'm home, sure come out and help me pick it 😂 We picked, wrapped, and sent her home with a full leafy load. Look how happy she is! 🤗
This biz is fuelled by eucalyptus, supportive mates, and small-town magic 💚 Thanks for loving what we do. Honestly. We don’t take a second of it for granted 🥹

This afternoon’s order run for our girl Renee Player 💕 a big, beautiful silver dollar eucalyptus bunch heading out the door to her home, and I swear the cold today had me feeling like I needed a eucalyptus snuggle of my own 😂.

Repping my Coca-Cola jacket, because if Coca-Cola wants to sponsor our eucalyptus hustle, We're ready 🤣.

Up before the sun, again, Eucalyptus in hand, sending out another order to the north of NSW 🌿✨
Today’s bundle was a big one: one large and one extra-large baby blue eucalyptus bunch (that’s 50 stems of absolute goodness!). Michael took it straight to the post office this morning, and it’s officially on its way! We’re pinching ourselves that the word is spreading about us… it’s honestly the best feeling. 🫶

Thank you for always making us feel like this little eucalyptus house of ours is your eucalyptus house too.
