I met this little princess in hospital and again today.. we tweaked a few things and hopefully Mumma won't have any more pain.. but she's piling on the weight and could be stared at all day.. I did that for a couple of hours. She's a beauty. And Mum is doing unreal!!

Another handsome little guy! I also got to meet him in hospital.. then saw him at home and with a few tweaks he was a feeding champion. A few weeks later the poor little guy ended up unwell in hospital, so Mums milk supply understandably took a hit. But he's home now, healthy, and in this pic, quite happy with his Mummys supply now! Great job super Mum ❤

I've been a bit slack on here so here's a few cuties to brighten your day. 🥰

I got to meet this little dude in hospital after I'd already seen him in his Mums belly a few weeks earlier to get prepared for the feeding journey.

Mum did an amazing job but then faced some challenges when he was 2 weeks old so I got to catch up with him again! He's now back on track after a superhero effort from his Mum and Dad. So nice to get these updates from parents and getting pictures of this handsome little man made my day. ❤

Check out this divine little girl! I saw her at 9 days old and her first time parents are doing the most amazing job. She is feeding beautifully and even giving them a little bit of sleep! 🥰

Did you know breastmilk is a proven pain relief?
Many studies have found that during blood tests or any other procedure.. the smell and taste of breastmilk is completely comforting to babies? If your bub ever needs a procedure, if possible, breastfeed through the procedure. Even if your bub is unwell or in the nursery and you can't breastfeed, them receiving drops of breastmilk is still effective pain relief through the taste and smell.
I saw this first hand when my little guy went from a morphine infusion after heart surgery, straight to breastmilk, and was so content!

Yesterday I got to see this handsome little dude again. I was lucky enough to meet him in hospital when he was first born. He has proven a hungry, tricky little boy, in terms of feeding, but gee his parents are doing an awesome job. Thank you for letting me share his gorgeous face Mumma. 🥰

This is my youngest feeding at my eldest's soccer game..
Another amazing thing about breastfeeding?? Its not just for feeding! Babies go to the breast if they are hungry, but also if they are thirsty, cold, hot, tired, hurt, unsure, confused, overstimulated or overwhelmed. And none of these reasons for feeding are more important than another. What a special bond 🥰

Did you know??? The smell and taste of your breast milk changes depending on what foods you eat. This means your little one is exposed to more flavours during breastfeeding and can mean they become less picky eaters once you begin introducing solids. And then when your little one does start eating solids, you can use breast milk to replace cow’s milk in recipes.
