For many, this Christman season is filled with light, laughter, connection, and celebration.
And for many others… it can quietly be one of the hardest times of the year.

Both can be true at the same time.

Holidays have a way of stirring old grief, family wounds, loneliness, financial pressure, relationship strain, or memories we work hard the rest of the year to keep steady. When the world tells us we *should* be happy, it can feel even more isolating to be struggling underneath.

At Replenish Counselling & Training, we want you to know you’re not alone in this.

We have a clinical counsellor available over the break, because care, support, and holding space for your story doesn’t stop just because the calendar says it’s a joyful time. Your nervous system, your parts, and your heart all matter, especially now.

If you've been carrying the impact of emotional abuse, bullying, harassment, or any kind of psychological harm caused by crime, please know you don't have to navigate it alone. Victims Services NSW offers up to 22 hours of free counselling, and some of our team at Replenish Counselling and Training are approved clinical counsellors and are here to walk alongside you with care and evidence-based support.

People come to us with many different experiences, including:

• Emotional or psychological abuse like gaslighting, constant put-downs, threats, or being slowly isolated from support.

• Bullying that shows up through repeated verbal attacks, exclusion, or ongoing rumours in school, at work, or online.

• Harassment such as stalking, unwanted contact, or behaviour that leaves you feeling watched or unsafe.

• Domestic violence without physical harm, including coercive control, financial restriction, and emotional manipulation.

• Cyberbullying through messages, posts, doxxing, or body-shaming.

• Workplace bullying like being undermined, embarrassed publicly, or pushed out of opportunities.

If any of this sounds familiar, support is available. We offer trauma-informed, heart-led counselling to help you steady your nervous system, understand what has happened, and rebuild in ways that feel safe for you.
