The Wattle Tree Clinic Welcome to The Wattle Tree Clinic; a youth psychology practice that provides counselling and mental health support to young people only.

Our intent is to help with the messy stuff in life and to make accessing support normal and no-fuss. The Wattle Tree Clinic’s primary goal is to provide mental health care that is relatable to young people. A huge part of this is achieved by the way we think of our team; as people first and clinicians second. We select our team for their human qualities. Yes, their qualifications are important. But their lived experiences of community and culture, of failure and achievement, are actually the things that make them great clinicians and even better humans.

Recommended to us by a client, The Imperfects podcast ticks all the boxes for The Good Content List. It’s all about listening to people being vulnerable & talking about hard things. This episode is one of my favourites simply because Linda deeply reflects on a very common, yet very loaded dynamic - having a difficult relationship with your mum. This topic brings so many young women to therapy, and WE JUST LOVE hearing somebody with a platform normalising it. When you listen to this, it’s so obvious that Linda’s “done the work” and we are here clapping her along in the background.
