Brought to you by mum of 2, Kayla And so, Evolving Bellies was born.

What if I told you that I could make the daunting experience of motherhood a little easier? Let’s prepare your body for pregnancy and the postnatal period. Telehealth, face-to-face, in-home Physiotherapy and (coming soon) online courses to improve your pelvic health and provide you with tools to continue moving safely and pain free through your motherhood journey. I’m Kayla Morosin - Physiotherapist and Passionate Women’s Health advocate. With over 10 years of Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates experience, I’m a proud part-owner of a multidisciplinary allied health clinic in the Illawarra. After the birth of my two beautiful babies, I became acutely aware of the gap in perinatal care for women and their changing bodies.

Just enrolled in Level 2 Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapy 🤓

Continued professional development is an essential part of remaining registered as a physiotherapist so I’m choosing to further my education in my field of choice - Women’s Health.

After this course, I’ll have an even deeper knowledge about things such as pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor/urinary/anorectal/s*xual dysfunction, and advanced assessment and interventions for all of the above 🥳

Not everyone’s cup of tea, I get it, but all of this information will help me to help you during all of your life stages.

About a month ago a lovely lady - Barbara Thompson - from the asked me to be a guest!

I was so honoured and excited to share my knowledge and experience with her audience and I hope you all get a chance to have a listen.

Topics we discussed:
- the importance of shifting the focus from the newborn to the mother
- changes our bodies undergo during and after pregnancy
- the outdated concept of “bouncing back” and the importance of education so that you can feel more yourself again after having a baby
- eliminating the stigma around bladder leakage
- s*x after childbirth
- signs of a tight pelvic floor
- pelvic floor self assessment
- learning how to correctly activate your pelvic floor

I had a ball recording this with Barbara. We shared many laughs and spoke many truths and I hope it helps you, even if it’s only on a small way, to feel more at ease with your amazing body!

Another Handy exercise for stretching out that pelvic floor. “But do I need to stretch it?” you ask.

Think about it like this…
When you lift a heavy weight 10 times, your bicep starts to feel fatigued and tight and sore, so naturally, you feel like you need to give it a stretch.

Same goes for your pelvic floor. It’s all well and good to strengthen, strengthen, strengthen, but we also need to remember to lengthen those fibres out afterwards to maintain a healthy resting tone.

So jump into this pose for a minute or two after you do your activations!

First, you'll select your start date (I recommend beginning your hire 3 weeks before your baby's due date so you can get familiar with the machine and it's settings).
Your Neurotrac Labour TENS Hire will arrive on or close to this date!

Second - Enjoy the amazing benefits of pharmaceutical-free pain relief!!

Finally - You'll be able to send it back via a pre-paid post sachel 5 weeks after it's arrival. Aim to be prompt with this as there will be other mumma's who'll need you to share the love.

If you'd like an 8 week hire option, this can also be arranged.

Do this a couple times a day.

If you suspect you're starting to develop mastitis, call the clinic (02) 4207 9960 and book in for an express therapeutic ultrasound session with me.

The warmth and vibration from the sound head will help to break down any blockages and hopefully reduce the chances of developing an infection. You may need a few sessions over the course of a week to help promote quicker healing.

Feel free to bring your baby with you, as feeding right after a session is most beneficial!
