Greenhill Aged Care comprises of two premier aged care homes set on one magnificent estate.

Located in Figtree, our aged care homes provide residents with a safe, nurturing and elegant place to live. Steeped in history our historical residences, Hillside and Greenhill Manor, were built in 1935 by BHP to house visiting VIPs, executives and, on occasions, even royalty. Greenhill Aged Care take great pride in offering beautiful accommodation and surrounds, and our exceptional team have a wealth of experience in a range of care needs.

Soil to Supper Winter Program Week 4 - Greenhill

It was a beautiful sunny morning in the garden at Green Hill! Our residents helped divide and pot 56 new thriving Queen’s Tears plants. Everyone was amazed that so many were created, the residents joked that they'd have to run a stall to sell them! Afterwards, the residents moved their chairs into the sun and looked at lots of native plant items such as gumnuts, banksia cones, feathers, paper daisies, bottlebrush seed pods, shells, grass seed heads and paper bark. Everyone was enjoying the winter sun so much they were reluctant to leave. Such a lovely morning in the garden!

Director of Hillside, Richard Clifford, has lived in the local area with his family for many years. Since acquiring the Hillside and Greenhill properties from BHP Billiton in 1998, it has been Richard’s dream to use the prestigious historical residences to serve families in the Illawarra region for generations to come. Through careful restoration of the heritage buildings and gardens and the addition of new wings, Richard and his business partner Rob Danby have succeeded in creating two neighbouring aged care homes of an exceptional calibre.

Responsible for the day-to-day running of Hillside is the Tulich family - a family business synonymous with exceptional care and superior lifestyles. They currently run some of the most prestigious retirement villages and aged care homes along the east coast.
