Us Aussies π¦πΊ need to seriously reassess what/how we consume food π-
What is the purpose of food π₯¦? What is itβs point?
In simple terms it helps give our bodies the macronutrients and micronutrients π¬ it needs to keep us fuelled sufficiently so that we can perform at optimum levels ππ»ββοΈπββοΈβΉοΈββοΈπ§π»ββοΈ. The quality π― of food we consume dictates the quality π― of cell reproduction.
Things like energy levels β‘οΈ, bodily stress π€¦π»ββοΈ, gut health π¨πΌβπ¬, muscle mass πͺ, sleep patterns π΄- all can be positively/negatively ββaffected with the food we consume. πππ₯ππ©π«
Letβs take breakfast for example- the majority of us just have a couple of pieces of toast π- or just a coffee βοΈ, others have a big bowl of cornflakes or nutrigrain π₯£. Generally we either eat to just put something in our stomachs - as something is better than nothing, or we just put as much into our stomachs as we can until we feel βsatisfiedβ..... We need to re-educate π©π»βπ ourselves and improve our relationship with food- as unfortunately, a couple pieces of toast, a coffee, a big bowl of cereal is nutritionally no where near what our bodies need- no wonder people are constantly tired π΄, irritated π€¬, sleepless at night π€
