Are you in perimenopause? Do you know what perimenopause is?

If you are over 40 with a range of unexplained symptoms like weight gain, cranky moods, irregular periods, heavy periods, it could be that you are in perimenopause.

The early stages of perimenopause may not even show signs or symptoms, they could be hidden deep within your body.

Most women over the age of 40 have begun their perimenopause journey. And some in their 30s will have done too!

Some kind words from the Inspector at the NSW Police Force who invited me to talk at thei annual women's forum last month.

"Julie Landon attended our annual women’s forum to discuss the importance of eating for change of life. Our staff were completely engaged and provided a lot of positive feedback about a topic which is never discussed, especially in the workplace. Julie provided a very straightforward, easy to understand approach and encouraged questions and interactions from the group. It is an eye opening subject about the impact of nutrition on our bodies before, during and after menopause. A very worthwhile presentation which has since encouraged a lot of our staff to talk about that ‘unspoken’ subject of menopause.

Julie, we cannot thank you enough for your time and for the information you shared with us."

If you know of any workplace or group, that want to open up the discussion about women and peri/menopause, then I'd love to chat more with you. Feel free to reach out

Time to introduce myself!

I am Julie a clinical nutritionist and precision health coach, and am the founder of Julie Landon Nutrition, an online clinic for women in their 30s, 40s and 50s.

I love supporting women who are already on the rollercoaster ride of hormonal change (hello, weight gain, crazy moods, brain fog, tiredness, and more)

I, also, love to support those that are lining up, and about to take that rollercoaster ride too; the women who may not yet experience any signs or symptoms, or those that are in their 30s with no thoughts of menopause on the horizon yet.

I believe that fine tuning your wellness habits, including your food choices, and aligning them to the needs of your unique body and mind, are the key to unlocking an easy menopausal transition and optimal vitality. The sooner you can do this, the smoother your transition will be.

Tess wanted help with her tiredness and weight gain. She was 48 and a busy working mum. She’d tried all sorts of diets in the past but they hadn’t helped in the long term. Last year she took part in a pilot version of The IN SYNC Method.

Following an assessment, we identified just a few key areas to make some changes based upon the precision health recommendations that were generated.

Contrary to popular recommendations, she learnt that she actually needed less protein for her body, not more.

She also accepted she needed to put her loved ones first: they were her number 1 priority and making sure that they were all OK, allowed her to relax and let go of the energy she was holding on to just in case they weren’t OK.

Within a month she was already beginning to sustainably lose weight and feel so much more energised to get through her day.

Do you want to gain more energy, clarity, lose weight and understand yourself better?

The IN SYNC Method closes tomorrow at 7pm (Sydney time)

The IN SYNC Method is an ONLINE program which means that you can be anywhere in the world and still take part in it.

The modules of content can be accessed at any time and gone through at your own pace whilst the program is open. And as for the group coaching calls, you’ll benefit the most if you can make it live, so one of the very first things we’ll do is to set up a day/time that suits the majority of the participants - if it needs to be held on an evening or at the weekend, then that’s an option. And if the time really doesn’t work for you, there will always be a recording to catch up on and daily access to me through the private facebook group.

The IN SYNC Method is also run as a small GROUP.

Being part of a group helps you make changes and achieve your goals, you’re more likely to be motivated in a group, more likely to persist when it gets tough and you’ll no doubt have a few laughs too. You won’t be alone on this journey.

Have you ever wondered what would be in an instruction manual made just for you?

By using precision health at the heart of The IN SYNC Method, this is exactly what you get. Recommendations on the foods to eat and when, the exercise to do, natural strengths, the relationships that make you thrive, even the impact of your environment and how that affects you too.

Knowing all of this helps you with the choices that you make everyday, at home, work in the supermarket. It helps you to understand what you need to do to feel better. To thrive in perimenopause and beyond.
