Flu season is coming up quick! 😷 Here are the facts:

- April and May is typically the beginning of flu season in Australia 🤒
- The vaccine is strongest in the first 3 - 4 months, so get in sooner rather than later⌛
- Adults over 65 are entitled to a FREE flu shot annually 💲

Calling all youth photographers aged 12-18.
Thursday 23rd of April 2026 - 2:45pm-3:45pm - Photography Workshop at Koonawarra Community Centre (as a part of our usual KYC drop in program)
Join the Illawarra Shoalhaven CDAT and Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District Drug and Alcohol team for a basic photography workshop to create entries for their competition.

Save the date!

Just over two months to go until the CareWays Annual Reconciliation Walk, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Come together with community, schools, families and local organisations for a morning of culture and connection. Walk alongside us in support of reconciliation, then stay and yarn at Koonawarra Community Centre over a sausage sandwich.

Let’s show the strength of our community and stand together. And of course, we’re all manifesting good weather so we can enjoy every moment outdoors!
