The seed was planted a few years ago when I saw a YouTube clip of a beach wheelchair in action and thought what a great idea!
Living in a coastal town on the beautiful South Coast I love the beach and the feeling of peace & joy it gives me. As a disability support worker I tried to source a chair for a client (to whisk them away on an off road adventure / something most people take for granted) and found access to the Sandcruiser / Sandpiper was limited.
Sure there are other all terrain chairs for sale, but these Australian made chairs are the best!
I love that I am a small piece of the puzzle to adding happiness and experiences to those relying on chairs in everyday life.
