Happy Long Weekend. I'd like to introduce to you our Typist/Receptionist, Karen.
Karen is our newest member to Wollongong PET & Nuclear Imaging. She has completed her Certificate III in Business Administration and has worked in the medical industry for the past 10 years.
She recently shaved her hair and we think she is rocking this look 🤟
Karen does a lot of work behind the scenes such as Invoicing & Posting on socials so you may not always see her at the front desk but she is always around and happy to help where she can 😊

Happy Hump Day. I'd like to introduce to you our Receptionist, Gabby.
Gabby has completed her Certificate III & IV in Business Administration and has recently moved to the Illawarra from the far south coast.
She has been with us from the very start and is the first face you'll see as you walk into the clinic 😀
Gabby is the one to go to for booking your appointments. She is our reception superstar 🤩

Happy Hump Day. I'd like to introduce to your our Practice Manager & Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Catherine.

Catherine has ALWAYS had a passion for healthcare and wanting to help where she can. She started practicing Nuclear Medicine in Hervey Bay after graduating from CSU with her BMRadSc(NM) and CT licence. She has also obtained her Masters in Molecular Imaging, which has allowed her to expand her proficiency in MRI procedures.
Catherine is a part of the Quality & Technical Standards Committee as well as the ANZSNM Mentor Program.

Catherine takes pride in making our patient's experience as pleasant as possible and help them tackle patient anxiety through information, kindness, and anxiety reduction techniques.

Not only is Catherine focused on patient care but she is passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment, where staff can reach their full potential and we feel very lucky to have her!

This is one of the new camera's Wollongong PET and Nuclear Imaging is bringing to the Illawarra. We're looking forward to providing high quality imaging and patient care to our region. Can't wait to see you guys soon!

The New Siemens Healthineers Pro.Specta SPECT/CT.
This platform integrates a 32-slice CT system with interleaved volume reconstruction (IVR) (16-slice acquired). Robust SPECT and CT capabilities enable full functionality for all SPECT only and SPECT/CT applications requiring anatomical localization and CT attenuation correction in cardiology, oncology, neurology, and general nuclear medicine.
The Stellar detector achieves high image resolution using geometry with higher channel density (768 channels) in the scan plane. Equating to a pixel length of 0.5 mm and an exceptional degree of precision.
