And we are back for a new year. Who thought 2025 went past in a blur?

Sadly we had to say goodbye to Ash at the end of the year, she will be missed!!

2026 is now here and we are ready to keep doing what we do best. We love supporting all our CKSC kids and their families. Here’s to smashing more of your goals in 2026!!

October is AAC Awareness Month! AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication and means any method used by people who have difficulty speaking or understanding language to express themselves and receive information. There is unaided AAC which includes body language and gestures or aided AAC which includes communication books, picture cards and speech generating devices. This year's theme is innovation, inclusion and advocacy, bringing awareness of AAC and to inform the public about the many different ways in which people communicate. We love using AAC in the clinic at CKSC to support our kids to communicate in whatever way they can!

✨ Today is International Day of Sign Languages! ✨
At CKSC, our team is always learning new signs to support our kiddos in expressing themselves and being heard. 💙 Every sign makes a difference in helping our little ones communicate with confidence. 🤟💬
