'Joy does not come and go, the only thing that comes and goes is our awareness of the joy. As we begin to tune into joy we notice that it dances, it is dynamic, it evolves, it is intelligent, alive, creative and riveting. It is the magical symphony of life; and as we return back to its flow we engage in the joyful dance as the orchestra plays. As we connect deep into the experience of the exquisite dance we notice we have stopped looking out to the world as our source of happiness. There is union here between that soul joy and all external satisfaction and pleasure. You find there is no need to choose between the two. When you choose joy you naturally and effortlessly find satisfaction and pleasure in the material world. However when we discount joy we find unfortunately that we are always at least one experience away from the whole experience. When we awaken to joy we find that all trying to be a good and kind person fades away. It is exhausting trying to be good & nice, yet when you tap into our essence we find limitless goodness, compassion, kindness & love is already there. The personas that we embody as we go out into the world have us get stuck in roles and it is these roles we play that are exhausting. Yet when we are just present to who we really are, all loveliness and kindness just pours out and it is a whole new story.'
