Today we celebrate an incredible milestone - 8 years of Serendipity Support Services.
Since opening our doors in 2018, Serendipity has grown into something truly special. What started as a vision has become a supportive, inclusive, and thriving community for so many participants, families, and staff. Over the years, we’ve shared countless moments - big achievements, small wins, laughter, challenges, and everything in between - all centred around supporting people to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
At the heart of it all is a deep commitment to person-centred care - ensuring every individual is supported in a way that respects their choices, their goals, and their independence. That foundation has shaped everything Serendipity stands for today.
None of this would be possible without Brenda and Martyn. The dedication, hard work, and passion you have poured into building Serendipity over the past 8 years is truly incredible. From the very beginning, you have created not just a service, but a place where people feel safe, valued, and supported. Your leadership, care, and vision have had such a meaningful impact on the lives of our participants and the team around you.
On behalf of Ebony, Tarra, Marie, Shani, and all of our staff, we want to say a heartfelt thank you. Thank you for the opportunities you’ve created, the guidance you provide, and the strong, values-driven culture you have built. We are proud to be part of what you’ve created and to continue this journey alongside you.

Your strength, individuality, and the relationships we’ve built with you are what make Serendipity what it is today.
