🌟 Introducing Clinical Psychology Registrar Laura Palamara

We’re pleased to welcome Laura to South Coast Private Hospital. Laura provides individual therapy at the Outpatient Psychology Clinic and facilitates group programs, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches.

Laura is passionate about creating a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences and challenges. She supports individuals navigating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, OCD, depression, dissociation, eating disorders, ADHD, ASD, and interpersonal difficulties.

Person‑centred at her core, Laura believes therapy should be shaped around each client’s unique needs and lived experience.

We’re inviting entries from past and current patients, as well as staff, to be part of our 2026 Art Exhibition! Join us as we celebrate creativity, inclusion, diversity, and the powerful connection between art and mental health.

🖼️ All forms of art welcome:
Visual art • Literary works • Photography • Textiles • Ceramics • Craft • Sculpture and 3D pieces

All experience levels encouraged from beginner, hobbyist or professional.

The exhibition is open to the public and will be held Friday 20 March 2026, 4–6pm | RSVP essential

Did you know we have an outpatient rTMS clinic located at South Coast Private Hospital?

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) is a non-invasive treatment for depression that uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood regulation.

rTMS is now covered by Medicare, meaning you may be eligible to have your treatment bulk billed. Speak to your GP or psychiatrist about whether rTMS could be a treatment option for you.

A referral from your GP is required to access rTMS services.

Kim Capp is our Chief Executive Officer she has extensive knowledge and experience in the mental health profession. She leads our multidisciplinary team with a high level of professionalism, guidance and direction. Our clinical, nursing and supportive teams have a wealth of knowledge and experience to provide the best care for our patients. When we are not in the hospital you can find our team involved in local community events, expos and mental health forums.
