📚 Let’s take a moment to appreciate a word that quietly carries a great deal of biological importance: lymphatic.
The term comes from the Latin ‘lympha’, meaning water or clear spring💧
This root also relates to ‘nymph’, the mythological spirits of water and nature - a poetic nod to the lymphatic system’s clear, fluid-based pathways that move like hidden streams through the body.
