Who is eligible
• Anyone aged 50–74 years — recommended to have a breast screen every two years.
• Women aged 40–49 are also eligible and welcome to attend. Speak with a doctor about your personal risk and whether screening is right for you.
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women recommended to start screening from age 40.
• Women aged 75 and over are eligible and welcome too, but invitations to screen are not automatically sent after age 75. It’s advised to consult with a GP about whether screening is appropriate.
