We are celebrating Clara's 4 year anniversary since beginning her journey at RoboFit! ❤

Clara, who lives with cerebral palsy, has been part of the RoboFit family for four years, both as a client and a valued team member. She wanted to share some words about her journey:

"Four years ago, fresh out of COVID lockdown, I entered a business that was actually built with disabled people in mind, and all the negativity I felt prior just disappeared. Unknowingly, my life would change forever. After a few sessions, something clicked, and I knew this was the kind of place I needed in my life.

Fast forward to 2023; because I felt such a deep connection to RoboFit and what it had done for me physically and helped me realise I did have worth, I knew I then wanted to pay it forward and help, as a tribute to helping others, since there was no place like RoboFit in the industry. Working at RoboFit was definitely an adjustment, but now I love it, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Despite the challenges that still exist for people with disabilities, I knew in the back of my mind I had a group of people that always saw the best in me, particularly one person, Charmaine.

To those who’ve doubted me, thank you for giving me the determination to constantly prove people wrong."

Continuing to bring awareness to the incredible people behind the scenes, we’re sharing another perspective. Meet Bronson, Greg’s long-term support worker.

Bronson assists Greg with daily life from appointments and social outings to community activities, but his role goes far beyond that. He highlights the unseen effects of living with a disability that isn’t written on paper: the challenges with motivation, self-doubt, and the impact on mental health.

For Bronson, being a carer means more than support — it’s about connection, building trust, and bringing a little more light into someone’s day. 🌟

Thank you Bronson for sharing your story.

Supporters Appreciation Week 💛

Today we’re highlighting Todd, a former firefighter and tradesman, now full-time carer for James Elliott.

From navigating medical care to being James’s extra set of eyes, balance, and backup body when needed, Todd’s role is powerful. He’s helped James regain confidence, mobility and independence one small milestone at a time.

Support isn’t always loud or seen, sometimes it looks like quiet consistency, unwavering patience, and showing up every single day.

Here’s to the supporters who make progress possible. 🙌

Supporters' Appreciation Week 💛

Simone, mum to Tom Lavis, reminds us that becoming a supporter isn’t about doing everything for someone, it’s about doing everything with them.

After Tom’s life-changing accident, their family became a team. They celebrate the highs, ride out the lows, and meet every challenge with practicality, positivity, and plenty of humour.

Support is about showing up, learning together, and finding strength in every step of the journey.

Thank you Simone and Tom for sharing your personal journey. We appreciate you!

Supporters Appreciation Week 💛

Paul shines a light on the often unseen heroes behind the scenes, the supporters and carers who make a real difference every day. From driving to appointments and advocating for therapies, to knowing when to step in or push for new goals, these are the people who help him gain independence and keep moving forward.

As Paul says, the people closest to us are often the unheard heroes and his family have been there every step of the way on his journey with a spinal cord injury.

Supporters Appreciation Week 💛

This week at RoboFit, we’re honouring the hearts behind the heroes, the supporters who show up through every high, low, and 1% win.

Chloe’s journey with Tommy shows that support is built from commitment, adaptability, and an unshakeable belief in what’s possible. From hospital runs and care plans to rebuilding connection and redefining what partnership looks like. It’s raw, relentless, and incredibly powerful.

Swipe to hear Chloe’s story and what it really looks like to stand beside someone you love. 💫

Thank you Chloe and Tommy for sharing your personal journey this Supporters Appreciation Week.

This week, we honour the 3 million family members and friends across Australia who provide care and support every day.
At some point in life, every Australian will either know, be, or need a carer.

At RoboFit, we’re taking this week to highlight the personal stories within our own community, sharing what it truly means to support a loved one.

The Lumbar Type Exoskeleton is designed to support lower back movement during therapeutic exercise.

At RoboFit, it’s used by our team of exercise physiologists and physiotherapists to assist clients in performing safe, supported movements like sitting, standing, bending, and transitioning between them. This aims to help improve strength, mobility, and confidence in everyday movement.

Progress in Motion with the HAL 🚀

This is Chin, one of our dedicated RoboFit clients. After experiencing a stroke, he now trains at RoboFit 3–4 times a week using our Lower Limb Exoskeleton and Single Joint devices as well as goal based therapy.

In the early stages of HAL sessions, our clinicians can assist with leg swing and toe clearance to help guide the movement pattern. Over time, as muscle activity improves, clients begin taking over those movements themselves, gaining more independence with every step.

Chin’s goals are powerful:

Stand with an aid

Increase walking capacity

Travel more

Navigate bathrooms, airports, and airplanes with confidence

Step by step, session by session we're helping support him reach those goals!

TOMMY WALKED!! 🚶‍♂️🔥

At RoboFit, there are highs and there are lows but moments like this remind us that every single one of them is worth it.

After a spinal cord injury, taking those first steps again isn’t always guaranteed… but Tommy did it.

He’s put in endless hard work to get here, and we’ve been sharing his journey to show just how far determination, resilience, and hope can take you.

Tommy, we are beyond proud. ❤️
Walking this path with you has been an absolute privilege.
