On April 28th, 2024, Daniel’s life changed in an instant when a shallow dive left him with a spinal cord injury.

From not being able to move his legs, to standing, walking with crutches, and rebuilding his confidence, his journey shows the power of persistence and how the right supports, technology, and clinicians make all the difference. The biggest change for Daniel after completing his 8 session block at RoboFit was his confidence.. to walk around home and out in public with his friends and family.

RoboFit is proud to be featured in The Daily Telegraph, sharing the story of Paul Elmer, a stroke survivor at our Parramatta clinic.

Paul had no warning signs and no underlying conditions when he experienced a stroke which is a powerful reminder that stroke can affect anyone. Since beginning therapy with RoboFit, Paul has been receiving tailored, one-on-one therapy designed to rebuild his strength, mobility, and independence.

We’re incredibly grateful to have clients like Bridgette who are open to sharing their journeys with us.

Bridgette, a brain cancer survivor, has worked hard to rebuild strength, confidence, and independence in her walking and daily life after treatment impacted her mobility.

She was recently featured alongside two other RoboFit clients in a story that highlights the real impact of assistive tech, therapy and community. RoboFit was live on the TODAY show on Saturday!

It’s a huge moment for us at RoboFit, but more than that, it’s a chance to share why we do what we do. Dan’s journey after spinal cord injury is where it all started. What followed was a mission to bring the kind of rehab tech we wished existed in Australia to help others get moving again, regain control, and push past what was once thought impossible.

Grateful to have this story shared as part of Disability Pride Month, and to shine a light on the people we’re here to support every day.
