The practice provides a comprehensive range of general practice services to the township of Wongan Hills and the surrounding district Wongan Hills Medical Centre is a solo rural general practice located 180 kilometres north east of Perth in Western Australia. The practice provides a comprehensive range of general practice services to the township of Wongan Hills and the surrounding district, a population of approximately 1,600. The practice consists of a full-time doctor, Dr Ajit Chaurasia supported by a part-time practice manager, a part-time practice nurse and 2 part-time receptionist's. Doctor’s special interests are Chronic Disease, Skin Checks, Skin Cancer, Minor Surgical Procedures, General Medicine, Worker’s Compensation & MVA. Dr Chaurasia also provides medical services at the local hospital. This is a mixed billing practice. Bulk Billing is available for Aged Pensioners, Children under 16yrs and DVA and Healthcare Card Holders.

Welcome Krystal - Expanded Pathology Services at the Medical Centre

We are pleased to welcome Krystal from Clinipath Pathology to the medical centre. She will be taking over from Aileen, who recently retired. We thank Aileen for her dedicated service and wish her all the best in retirement.

We're also excited to announce that pathology services will be available five days a week from Monday to Friday, 8.00am-12.00pm.

No appointment is necessary - simply turn up, take a number, take a seat in the foyer, and wait to be called.

Krystal will commence on Monday, 9th June.
