Today, we had the privilege of hosting a group of medical students from the Medical Student Rural Immersion Week Program at our subcentre.
They were an exceptional group; we look forward to seeing them serve in the community, hopefully ours, upon completion of their studies.

Our Community Transport Service will temporarily pause operations over Christmas and January 2026.

The service will resume on Monday 2nd February 2026.

Defibrillator Demonstration

Lorrice and Mick conducted a defibrillator demonstration at a farm today following a recent purchase due to the significant distance to medical assistance.

And while it's just one day, it's a reminder of the gratitude and support we have for our first responders every day. To our first responders here at St John WA - Wongan Hills, and surrounding towns, and to the teams at Wongan Hills Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service, Ballidu Volunteer Fire and Emergency Service and Wheatbelt District - WA Police Force - thank you for being there for our communities and keeping us safe and well.
