Local consumer voices helping to shape new health service.

We will join with Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health and Alfred Heath to become Bayside Health from 1 January 2026.

Our Community Advisory Committee recently presented at the Bayside Health Consumer Workshop, sharing B*H’s long standing commitment and strong history of genuine community engagement and consumer participation.

The CAC is vital to the local community because it gives local people a direct voice in how healthcare is delivered – helping ensure services reflect local needs and priorities.

If you’re crafty and would like to help patients with delirium and other cognitive impairments, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re seeking volunteers to make Fiddle Blankets and Twiddle Cuffs that provide sensory stimulation, which can help to calm agitation, occupy restless hands and provide comfort to those who use them.

Fiddle Blankets have zips, studs and textured materials. Twiddle Cuffs are knitted cuffs/muffs with textures. They’re also used to disguise cannulas so patients are less likely to fiddle and dislodge them.
